MONAMOON supports Ukrainian frontline medical workers

Maternity and maternity-friendly brand MONAMOON joined #ПідтримуюЛікарів (#SupportDoctors) social initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and repurposed its own production for the sewing personal protective equipment for frontline medical workers.

MONAMOON has always been and is a socially responsible company. The global mission of the brand is to care for the health of the future generation through the positive emotions of expecting mothers. In connection with the pandemic and new threats to humanity, company management decided to use all capabilities, experience and knowledge to protect medical workers who are on the first line in the fight against coronavirus.  

MONAMOON office has been working remotely since March 16. But in spite of quarantine, for more than three weeks brand has repurposed own production and is engaged in sewing personal protective equipment for medical workers, adhering to the safety measures recommended by World Health Organization.

«Statistics shows that every fifth affected within Ukraine is a medical worker. Today, saving the lives of patients, they are forced to risk their own lives, without proper personal protective equipment. We could not stay away. In a matter of days, we bought the necessary supplies, and started production of disposable protective coveralls and costumes. The fight against the pandemic is not only the task of the government, it is the duty of every responsible person, and making joint efforts we can defeat this challenge. Health and support are now the top priority!» - says MONAMOON founder Nataliya Mazur.
