Canadian rapper Drake has released a new album, "Certified Lover Boy". The cover depicts pregnant emojis of various skin tones wearing different color tops, this is the creation of the famous British artist Damien Hirst. Due to the lack of a signature for the album, fans offered their own options for decoding the subtext. It was not without memes and fan art, and some brands used the reference to the cover in their creations.
Amazon played with the association "mom and baby" and posted a picture with parcels and their "babies". Condom brands Durex South Africa and Trojan Brand Condoms went from the opposite direction and hinted at what emojis would look like if Drake had used their products. Durex South Africa signed the creative "Certified protection for a certified lover boy".
The Ukrainian maternity brand MONAMOON is not against humor and creativity, but jokes that hint that it would be better if there was no pregnancy are considered unacceptable. Especially from influential brands that should be socially responsible.
In the album, Drake himself regrets not that the girls are pregnant by him, but that children grow up without him, but he is happy, that mom is raising a child to be a good person.
Therefore, MONAMOON created their own version of the cover — a photo with expectant mothers, to show that a pregnant girl is very beautiful, and the best thing that happens to girls is the birth of a new life. They also decided to support single moms and released a capsule collection of bright multicolored long sleeves called "Certified mom". Part of the proceeds from the sale of this collection will go to a charity to support single mothers.
